قلب سے ذہن تلک خود ہی اثر کرتا ہے
ذکرِ شبّیر کسی دل میں جو گھر کرتا ہے


اک یزیدی بھی بدل سکتا ہے اپنی تقدیر
مثلِ حر گر سوئے شبّیر سفر کرتا ہے


مدحِ حیدر تو بہت لوگ کیا کرتے ہیں
سینچ کر پودے کو میثم ہی شجر کرتا ہے


جان لیں آپ کے وہ شخص نہیں مولائی
قول جو رکھے دگر فعل دگر کرتا ہے


کس طرح جائیگا وہ پیش رسولِ عربی
کربلا والوں سے جو صرفِ نظر کرتا ہے


جو کہ منبر سے غلط دین کی تشریح کرے
اپنے ہر لقمہ کو وہ خون سے تر کرتا ہے


تب کہیں جا کہ کوئی بنتا ہے مرجع شارب
ضبطِ نفس اوج پہ اور خون جگر کرتا ہے
