ہم پہ رحمت بھی عنایت بھی ہے خلقت انکی
ہم توقاصر ہیں بیاں کرنے سے عظمت انکی

رب نے لکھ دی ہے جو قرآں میں فضیلت انکی
اب کوئی ہم میں سے کیا لکّھے گا مدحت انکی

اپنے محبوب کو پہلے تو بنایا اس نے
اور پھرجز کیا ایماں کا رسالت انکی

گو کہ بھیجا انھیں کل نبیوں میں سب سے آخر
ہاں مگر رکھ دی سبھی نبیوں پہ سبقت انکی

بغض حیدر پہ بھی فردوس کا دعوا ہے جنھیں
مثلِ شدّاد ہی ہو سکتی ہے جنّت انکی

ہم ہیں عشّاق نبی شہرِ مدینہ سے ہمیں
آج بھی ملنے چلی آتی ہے نکہت انکی

ہم سے عاصی پہ عنایت سے عیاں ہے شارب
ڈھونڈ لیتی ہے گنہگار کو رحمت انکی
