مولا کی ہوگی دید رہے اس خمار میں
کتنی خزائیں دیکھ لیں اس اعتبار میں

انسان بد سے ہو گیا بد تر خدا گواہ
جب ڈھیل پاگیا کبھی اپنی مہار میں

کب تک رہوگے دور ہماری نظر سے تم
کیا کچھ کشش نہیں ہے ہماری پکار میں

دید ار جانے کس گھڑی ہوگا خبر نہیں
صدیاں گزر گئی ہیں اسی انتظار میں

بس آپکی نظر پہ ہے موقوف زندگی
خاکی ہوں کچھ نہیں ہے مرے اختیار میں

دورِ جہاد میں بھی کسی کام آسکوں
بھٹکیں نہ یہ قدم کبھی راہِ فرار میں

دامن پہ کوئی داغ نہ ہی روح پر شکن
جنکا ہدف یہ ہو وہی ہونگے شمار میں

ہو جاۓ اسکی روح کو بالیدگی عطا
شارب پھنسا ہے زیست کے لیل و نہار میں
