Meray humsafar tu ruka nahin yeh meri sada ki shikast hay

Tujhay laa kay dil main bitha dia, tujhey raaz har ik bata dia
Tu nay phir bhi koi wafa naa ki yeh meri wafa ki shikast hay

Main chaaragh-e-kuhna mizaaj tha, tujhey bijliyoun ki talab rahi
Mujhay aandhiyoun nay bujha dia yeh meri ziaa ki shikast hay

Mujhay is tarah naa satao gay , mujhey zoam tha kay naa jao gay
Mera ghalat wehm-o-gumaan hee meri intehaa ki shikast hay

Mujhay koi tujh say gilaa nahin, tu mila tha kub? keh bichar gaya
Meray jurm ki hay yehi saza yeh meri wafa ki shikast hay

Meri khamoshi kay bayaan ko, tu samajh kay bhi naa samajh saka
Meray aansooun ka payaam hee dil-e-baynawa ki shikast hay

Gham-e-daastaan-e-hayaat kay sub hee tazkirey huay rayegaa’n
Meray chaaragar tera yeh hunar, meri hur ada ki shikast hay

Mujhay razmagah-e-hayaat main yoon kabhi naa koi giraa saka
Teri khamoshi ki pukaar hee meri ibtidaa ki shikast hay

Meri jaan tasadduq khamosh reh, bhala zour kis ka hawayoun par
Keh jahan bhi rukh yeh badal gayeen waheen na-khudaa ki shikast hay
