kis dil se aah tark-e-tamannaa kare ko_ii

duniyaa laraz ga_ii dil-e-hiramaa.N_nasiib kii
is tarah saaz-e-aish na chhe.Daa kare ko_ii

mujh ko ye aarazuu vo uThaaye.n naqaab Khud
un ko ye intazaar taqaazaa kare ko_ii

rangiinii-e-naqaab me.n Gum ho ga_ii nazar
kyaa be-hijaabiyo.n kaa taqaazaa kare ko_ii

yaa to kisii ko jurrat-e-diidaar hii na ho
yaa phir merii nigaah se dekhaa kare ko_ii

hotii hai is me.n husn kii tauhiin ai 'M'
itanaa na ahal-e-ishq ko rusavaa kare ko_ii
