Meri raat din mein chupi huee mera din chuppa kisi raat mein
Meri zindagee koee raaz hai koee raaz hai meri zaat mein

Koee mutmain bhe nahin hua' koee ho bhe jaye to iss mein kya
Main bhe aapne saath ulajh para ' rah e kar zar e hayat mein

Main Jahan kahin bhi bhatak gaya waheen girte girte sambhal gaya
Mujhe thokoroan se pata chula mera hath hai kisi hath mein

Mere dushmanoan, mujhe dukh na do, mujhe mere haal pe choar do
Mujhe perh raha hai yeh shehar to koee baat hai meri baat mein

Mein muhabatoan ka payambar, jo hai nafratoan mein ghira hua
Kiya waqt ne mujhe dar ba dar main palat sakun jo hayaat mein

Yeh samatoan pe jo shor hai, yeh hawa e waqt ka zoar hai
Yaa mere hi dil ka ye choar hai, jo chupa hai meri ghaat mein
