ab woh mehke hue lamhey nahi aaya kertey
meri basti main ujaaley nahi aaya kertey

meri tanhai ka asaib yahan tak pohncha
ab meri chat pe parindey nahi aaya kertey

dard ke rishtoon se pehchaan badhani hogi
kaam ab khoon ke rishtey nahi aaya kertey

zabt e gham hadd e adab se nahi badhne pata
mere lab per kabhi shikwey nahi aaya kertey

unke hathoon main hai urdu ki ijaradari
jinko urdu hi ke hijjey nahi aaya kertey

unki tazeem karo dil main chupa ker rakho
baaraha dard ke lamhey nahi aaya kertey

aaj doulat hi ko miyaar bana ker rakhiye
sirf kirdaar se rishtey nahi aaya kertey

waqt nasaaz agar ho to gila kis se karain
dost ahbaab bhi milney nahi aaya kertey

shab ka bharpoor tassur bhi zaroori hai rais
neend kachhi ho to sapney nahi aaya kertey
