kaya us kay jeewan lamhoon may, koi lamha maira baqi hay
Kaya us ki jagti ankhoon main, mairi yaad say pehlay udasi hay

Kaya wo bi mairi tarah yoon hi, shab bhar jaga karta hay
Kaya wo bi saa't-e-rehmat main hamain rab say manga karta hay

Agr aisa nahi to tu hi bata, hum yaad ussay kyun kartay hain
Wo hum say bichr kr khush hay agr, to hum pal pal kyun martay rehtay hain
