Khud se bhi jo main ne chhupaaye kaise woh sadmaat likhun

Takht ki khwahish, loot ka lalach, kamzoron pe zulm ka shauq
Lekin unka farmaana hai main inko jazbaat likhoon

Apni apni taareeki ko log ujaala kehtay hain
Tariki ka naam likhun to qaumain, firqay, zaat likhun

Jaane yeh kaisa daur hai jis main yeh jurrat bhi mushkil hai
Din ho agar to usko likhoon din raat agar ho raat likhoon
