Jahan dil apna khilta hai
Waheen mausam badalta hai
Hamain jo naam lena ho
Amanat aur ki ho wo
Hamai jo baat kerni ho
Sira wo mil nahi pata

Kabhi gham yun bhi hota hai
Jahan phoolon ki aahat ho
Khizan bhi tan ke aati hai
Koi dharkan sunaey gee
Hamain kya raaz ki batain
Kabhi jab aankh dil per ho
To dil hi mil nahi paatay

Kabhi gham yun bhi hota hai
Keh lawa beh nahi pata
Khwahish aesi hoti hai
Mager hum ro nahi saktay
Sar-e-maqtal kharay ho ker
Kabhi tum ko pukarain to
Sada'ain mil nahi sakteen

Kabhi gham yun bhi hota hai
Keh mar janay ko dil chahay
Koi marnay nahi deta

Kabhi gham yun bhi hota hai
Hamain hi gham kyun hota hai?
Usay gham kyon nahi hota?
