Few shairs for the lovers of Punjabi poetry...
Ki hoya jay mein qaidi hoya
Sada nee rena qaidi…!
Ik din Maola karam karay si
Te ral sangntaan ich bena


Hijar tera jay pani mangay
Tay mein khoo nena day gairaan
Gee kerda teno samnay bhaa kay
Aj dard puranay cheraan


Chola paat purana hoya koi na seeray darzi
Dil da mehram koi na milya, jo milya so gharzi

aiwai matha zameen ghumai daa
paa lamma mehraab dikhai daa
parh kalma lok hasai da
dil andar samajh na laaiii daaa
kadi sachii baat wee mukdii hai
ik nuktey wich gal mukdi hai

ik jangal behree jandey nain
ik dana roz da khandey nain
bey samajh wujood thakandey nain
ghar awan hokey pandey nain
chaliya andar jind sakdee hai
ik nuktey andar gal mukdii hai

koi haji ban ban ayae jii
gal neeley jamey paye jee
per aaiii gal kinnoo bhaye jee
kithey sach dii gal wee rukdii hai
ik nuktey wich gal mukdii hai
