teri yaad mein bheegay rukhsaron kay
zard kinaron parr aa karr
ghabra'ei huei si utri thi
aur thori daer ko tthehri thi

abb yaad nahin,teri aankhon mein
ko'ei khwab tha-koei sitara tha
teray honton ki unn qoson parr
ko'ei lafz tha -ko'ei ishara tha
kya shaam kay rastay parr rukk karr
teray dill nay mujhay pukara tha?

bass yaad hai itna, jabb dill nay
iss umr ki hadd say kuchh peechhay
ik baar palat karr dekha tha---

raston pay khilay sabb phoolon parr
ik abr ka saya jhukta tha
aur shaam zara si gehri thi ............
