teri rahmton ke diyar main, teray badlon ko pata nahin
abhi aag sard hoye nahin, abhi aik aalao bhujha nahin

meri bazm-e dill tu ujar chuki, mera farsh-e jan tu simat chuka
sabhi ja chukay meray hamnasheen, magar aik shakhs gaya nahin

dar-o bam sub ney saja liyay, sabhi roshni main naha liyay
meri ungliyan bhi jhuls gaye, magar aik chiragh jala nahin

gham-e zindagi teri rah main, shab-e arzo teri chah main
jo ujr gaya woh basa nahin, jo bichar gaya woh mila nahin

jo dill-o nazr ka saror tha, meray paas reh ke bhi door tha
wohi aik gulab umeed ka, meri shak-e jan pe khila nahin

pas karwan sar-e rahguzar, main shikasta pa'a hoon tu is liyay
ke qadm tu sab se mila liyay, mera dill kisi se mila nahin

mera hamsafr jo ajeeb hai tu ajeeb tar hoon main aap bhi
mujhay manzlon ki khabr nahin, isay raston ka pata nahin
