unhee sa'aton ke talashh hai jo calendaron se utar sakain
jo samay k sath guzar gayen, wohi fursatain mujhay chaheye

kahin mil sakain to samait laa mere rooz-o-shab ke kahaniyan
jo ghubaar-e-waqt main chup gayen wo hikayatain mujhay chaheye

jo meri shaboon k charagh thay, jo meri umeed k baagh thay
wohi loog hain meri aarzoo, wohi sortain mujhay chaheye

teri qurbatain nahe chaheyen meri shayari k mizaaj ko
mujhay faasloon se dawaam dey, tere furqatain mujhay chaheye

mujhay or kuch nahe chaheye ye duain hain mere saibaaaan
karri dhoop main kahin mil sakain to yehe chhatain mujhay chaheye !!
