خراج ہے یہ محبتوں کا ۔۔۔

خراج ہے یہ محبتوں کا، عداوتوں کا
عذاب لمحوں کی وحشتوں کا
لہو میں نکھری حکائتوں کا
بند سے لپٹی شکائتوں کا
رگوں میں اُتری، اُتر کے بکھری، بکھر کے پھیلی بغاوتوں کا
خراج ہے یہ محبتوں کا، عداوتوں کا
انہیں بھی دیکھو جو سر پہ مٹی کو اوڑھتی ہیں
جو اپنی حُرمت کی کرچیوں کو جگر کے پوروں سے چُن رہی ہیں
جو خواب پلکوں سے بُن رہی ہیں
پھر ان کو خود ہی اُدھیڑتی ہیں
بچی کُھچی سی جو اپنی سانسیں سمیٹتی ہیں
سمیٹ کر خود بکھیرتی ہیں
کوئی تو ان کا جہاں میں ہوگا، مگر کہاں ہے؟
پنہ میں لے لے جو ان کو اپنی، وہ گھر کہاں ہے؟
خراج ہے یہ محبتوں کا، عداوتوں کا
فلک پہ اُگتا ہوا یہ سورج گواہی دے گا
ہوائیں روتی ہیں سُن کے ماؤں *کے بین ہر پل
جو کوکتی ہیں، جو ہُوکتی ہیں
سسک سسک کر جو جی رہی ہیں
جو اپنے بیٹوں کی رکھ کے لاشیں
زمیں پہ دیوار چُن رہی* ہیں
خراج ہے یہ محبتوں کا، عداوتوں کا
مگر وہ پل دور اب نہیں ہے، ہمیں یقیں ہے
جہاں میں چاروں ہی اور کرنوں کا راج ہوگا
مٹے ہوؤن کے، لُٹے ہوؤں کے سروں پہ خوشیوں کا تاج ہوگا
نقاب اُترے کا دیکھ لینا
جو بھیڑ لگتے تھے، بھیڑیے ہیں
اور اُن کے ابرو کے اک اشارے پہ موت رقصاں تھی،
چاروں جانب
اور آستیوں میں ان کے خنجر چُھپے ہوئے تھے
سمجھ لو یومِ حساب ان کا قریب ہے اب
نقاب اُترے گا دیکھ لینا
