fir zikr kyaa kareiN voh kahaaN kidhar gayee

yeh to nahiN gilaa suNg maare raqeeb neiN
dekha tujhe jo saath zaraa aaNkh bhar gayee

chhupaana logoN se to naa mushkil kabhi huaa
aa-i-na jab bolne lagaa meri zaat dar gayee

chaahat ki raah pe mukaam roshan kiye bahut
mohabbat wafa dosti na teri nazar gayee

naam wafaa ka lekar jo detaa rahaa dagaa
kyoN uske iNtzaar meiN tamanna thehar gayee

kiski talaash thee na booNd abar per ruki
sehra meiN jaa jali bahr-o-bahar gayee

raat din umar ke youN basar ho gaye

roshni se ulajh is kadar maiN gayaa
aNdhere mere hamsafar ho gaye

maNzil to khaRi Thi mere saamne
magar raaste darguzar ho gaye

kaarvaN se pataa pooChta maiN rahaa
gardo.gubaar meri nazar ho gaye
