Taweel din ki hawailioon kay,
Jo rastoon main thehar gai hai
Wo shaam dukh hai, yeh shaam dukh hai
Kay iski sheh par kai dinoon say
Musafiran-e-abd ka aisay firaq asaar rastoon par
Safar to khair ik almiyah hai, qayam dukh hai
Hamain khabar hai, tamaam dukh hai

Yeh aas dukh hai, niraas dukh hai
Udasioon ka libaas dukh hai
Yeh tishnagi jo azaab bun kar thehar gai hai
Badan kay boseeda sahilon par
To iska ehd-e-dawaam dukh hai
Yeh shor karti hawa ka sara kharaam dukh hai
Hamain khabar hai tamaam dukh hai

Yeh tum muhabbat nibahtay ho,
To is muhabbat ka naam dukh hai
Yeh wasl mausam jo ik musalsal zaabta hai
To is rafaqat ka naam dukh hai
Aur aisi wehshat numa fiza main
Khamoosh rehna bhi ik saza hai
Magar kisi say kalaam dukh hai..
Hamain khabar hai ... tamaam dukh hai
