ہجر کو چھو کر آئے تھے سرد دسمبر،تم اور میں
شجر سے لگ کر روئے تھے سرد دسمبر،تم اور میں

تنہا سی پگڈنڈی پر جانے کتنی دور تلک
یاد کے پھیلے سائے تھے سرد دسمبر، تم اور میں

جانے کیسی رت تھی وہ جانے کیسا موسم تھا
فصل گل کے نوحے تھے سرد دسمبر،تم اور میں

گم صم گم صم لرزیدہ گلے سے لگ کر روئے تھے
خواب جو ہم نے بو ئے تھے سرد دسمبر،تم اور میں

بارش،کہرے،پت جھڑ میں بجلی کوندی یاد آیا
دھوپ سنہری سوئے تھے سرد دسمبر،تم اور میں

ٹرین کی آخری سیٹی تک شاید تم کو یاد بھی ہو
اک دوجے میں کھوئے تھے سرد دسمبر ، تم اور میں
