Zara aa ke arsh se farsh per, wo suney ga mere kalam ko, kisi sham ko
Wo hai shah-e-waqt to kiya hua, bari dad de ga ghulam ko, kisi sham ko

Mujhey mangney ka shaoor hai, usey bantney pe aboor hai, ke wo noor hai
Mere chor dil ko saroor hai, wo bharey ga mere mere jaam ko, kisi sham ko

Karoon dil se jab bhi koi dua, usey maan leta hai tu sada, ai mere Khuda
Kabhi namurad na ho saka, liya jis ghari tere naam ko, kisi sham ko

Mujhey jis ne rakha dabao main, mere jism-o-jaan ko alao main, sada khao main
Wo jab aya waqt ke dao main, to takey ga phir daro baam ko, kisi sham ko

Hai mufad hi yahan mautabir, nahin dosti main bhi aab asar, yeh yaqeen ker
Main pukarta phira her nagar, koi kat de mere daam ko, kisi sham ko

Jahan saans lena muhal ho, jahan her khushi main malal ho, bura haal ho
Jahan dharkano pe zawal ho, wahan milna saadi kham ko, kisi sham ko
