diivaanaa hai diivaane ke muu.Nh na lago to behatar hai

kal jo thaa vo aaj nahii.n jo aaj hai kal miT jaayegaa
ruukhii-suukhii jo mil jaaye shukr karo to behatar hai

kal ye taab-o-tavaa.N na rahegii Tha.nDaa ho jaayegaa lahuu
naam-e-Khudaa ho javaa.N abhii kuchh kar guzaro to behatar hai

kyaa jaane kyaa rut badale haalaat kaa ko_ii Thiik nahii.n
ab ke safar me.n tum bhii hamaare saath chalo to behatar hai

kapa.De badal kar baal banaa kar kahaa.N chale ho kis ke liye
raat bahut kaalii hai 'Nasir' ghar me.n raho to behatar hai

ishq mai jeet hoi ya maat
aaj ki raat na chaair ye baat,
yoo aya wo jaan-e-bahaar
jaisy jag mai phailay bahaar,
rang kheelay sehra ki dhoop,
zulf ghanay jangal ki raat,
kuch na suan aur kuch na kha,
dilmai reh gaye dil ki baat,
yaar ki nagri koso door,
kesay katay gi bhaari raat,
bastee walo se chup ker,
ro laitay hain peechli raat,
sanato mai suntay hain,
sunni sunaai koi baat,
phir jaray ki rut aaye,
cho'aty din aur lambi raat.

apni dh'un mai rehta hoo.
mai bi teray jaisa hoo.
O peechli rut kay saathi,
ab k baras mai tanha hoo,
teri gali mai sara din,
dukh k kankar chunta hoo,
mujh se aankh milay kon,
mai tera aaina hoo,
mera diya jalay kon,
mai tera khaali kamra hoo,
teray siwa mujhy pehnay kon,
mai tery tan ka kapra hoo,
tu jeevan ki bhari gaali,
mai jangal ka rasta hoo,
aati rut mujhy roy gi,
jati rut ka jhonka hoo,
apni lahar hai apna rog,
dariya hoo aur piyasa hoo.
