اختر شیرانی کی ایک خوبصورت غزل

کچھ تو تنہائی کی راتوں میں سہارا ہوتا
تم نہ ہوتے نہ سہی ، ذِکر تمہارا ہوتا

ترکِ دنیا کا یہ دعویٰ ہے فُضول اے زاہد
بارِ ہستی تو ذرا سر سے اُتارا ہوتا

وہ اگر آ نہ سکے موت ہی آئی ہوتی
ہجر میں کوئی تو غم خوار ہمارا ہوتا

زندگی کتنی مسرت سے گزرتی یارب
عیش کی طرح اگر غم بھی گوارا ہوتا

عظمت گِریہ کو کوتاہ نظر کیا سمجھیں
اشک گر اشک نہ ہوتا تو ستارہ ہوتا

لبِ زاہد پہ ہے افسانہء حورِ جنّت
کاش اِس وقت مرا انجمن آرا ہوتا

غمِ اُلفت جو نہ ملتا غمِ ہستی ملتا
کسی صورت تو زمانے میں گزارا ہوتا

کس کو فرصت تھی زمانے کےستم سہنے کی
گر نہ اُس شوخ کی آنکھوں کا اشارہ ہوتا
