Thread removal notification

Asslam-o-Alaikum!

Dear respected moderators/administrators my question is that Why is a thread/post of a member is removed from a particular sub-forum/thread without notifying the member and specifying the reason for it...???

Hope to get the answer soon.

Thanking you all in anticipation.

W salam

It is not possible to send a notification every time we delete or edit a thread due to the volume of such operations. The other reason is that many users often do not provide an email address for sending a notification etc.

However, we do entertain queries regarding editing and deletion in the Feedback Forum.

The biggest reason for deletion is "Duplication of posts and threads". Members without exploring the forum, post the stuff and raise issues that are already discussed in sticky threads. For example, the thread you made regarding optional subjects is already there in beginner's guide and respective forums. All you need is to explore and go through them.

Thank You

@Viceroy
Thanks for your prompt and nice words.
I think there could be some solution to this problem.May be an auto generated message can be send to the concerned member(who initialized the activity) when a post is edited/removed/moved.

@Last_Island
Thanks for your quick response as well.
Regarding my thread which you have talked of.I don't think there is any such thread in the forum at present which discusses the optionals the way I had proposed.Although I just was not able to start the thread as I wanted it to.May be because of lack of knowledge you can say.But My aim was just to discuss the optional subjects in light of the experiences of seniors and other persons so that it would be easier for aspirants like myself to assess a subject taking into consideration its technicalities/non-technicalities regarding preparation of CSS.

I hope you get my point.

Thank You both once again.
