look if v go 2 awards v wll find tht vn any member requests after his actions hez given award by concernd perons.

there should b no request for any sort of recognition only moderators and adm should take step then send invitation to user if he wishes same so b given to h/s

Arrow Something bothering you again?

Walaikum salam :
I'm afraid interpreting your Post is a bit difficult due to absence of clarity.
Nevertheless,if you were suggesting that it's only the administration that decides who qualifies for an award then you're right. However, sometimes the members make requests for awards and they're accomodated on a goodwill basis, just like you were.Awards are also given out on the basis of good reputation among the members. The Award you see tagged next to my name is the one i'm talking about.
No offence intended but since awards can be taken on a request basis, can i get the Elite Member Award???

Regards,
36thCommons.

I think what he meant to say is that we should get rid of the "request award" link on the awards page. I agree that at this point, it looks a bit odd for a member requesting himself a medal but later when this community reaches to something like 50k members, it will not be possible for us to monitor the activity of each and every member and his contribution. That will be the right time for someone to request it for himself or ask it for another member. Makes sense ?

Similarly we may introduce few more medals for which we can ask members to request nomination and later post a poll on the forum for other members to vote. Will be fun

Assalamoalikum

I also support the idea of Mr. Khattak. Medals should not be awarded on requests, as the administration of the forum can best judge who is deserving. I also do not understand how one is catogarized as Jr. member, member or sr. member and what is the yardstick for this too.

Default actualy iwanted to say.

salam dears.
actualy i wanted to say tht members should not request for personal awards rather it should b done wid help of open polls on this forum.or there should b some sort of comiteeeeeeeee to do so.
if majority of members agree tht xyz should be awarded wid some medle then he/she should b informed by the responsibles and then process starts like tht.

for 36thcommon.u dont deserve the elite member award
bas mera apna vote hy ma apky kelaaf use karta ho.

i was kiding at alllllllllll.ab aesa na ho per koe kafa hojayeab to buht poonk poonk k bat karne hoge forum pe respected member if u wna b awarded then start convasingcontact members to collect votes after polling v will decied k ap mahan hy k nae?????

thnks

Arrow In that case....

We do believe in freedom of speech at the Forum and a proof of it is this Thread.
So here's my response to your opinions :"For forms of government let fools contest; What is best governed is the best" !!!

Tidus : Thanks for the interpretation.I really could'nt have done without it.

(Was a good joke by the way) !
