To get any members email ID, visit his/her profile. You cannot go around asking members to share IDs for whatever reason.

If memebers want to share their IDs, they should mention it in their profile and adjust their profile privacy settings accordingly.

If a members has kept his ID hidden, it can be viewed once he adds you in his friend's list. For that you will have to send him friendship request.
