Why thread on Peer-o-Murshad is closed?

@Last Island, i am posting this thread vis a vis deletion of my post in thread regarding importance of peer o murshad in islam. After readinng you comment and later deletion of my post on the topic, i have come to the conclusion that you strongly dislike Professor Ahmed Rafique Akhtar. There is no wrong, it is fine that you disagree with him. But you can not impose your believes on people posting on this forum. I have not used abusive language nor i voilated any rule of this forum. But you have deleted my post because of you personal prejudice against Professor Ahmed Rafique Akhar. This forum is a very beautiful forum, which has given bright minds an oppertunity to discuss topics of national , international and social nature including religion. Please do not distroy this forum.

First of all, i didnt delete your post because of Prof. Rafique Akhtar. 6 posts from that thread got deleted because the thread was going controversial and the members requested to take action about it. And that was the only reason. Disacted Act got the answer so rest of the posts were removed and thread was closed to avoid any scuffle. I dont think i need to explain further.
