Thread Subscription

Dear fellows,

I was just wondering if you people have problems tracking the threads you started or the threads in which you made post(s).

There is an easy way of doing it. Click the User CP link found on the top left of navigation bar and there you will find New Subscribed Threads where all the threads will display you started and someone replied to that thread. Currently it will show nothing because you need to make a slight change in your profile. Please follow the steps below:

Go to User CP
Click the Edit Profile link on the left menu
On the next screen scroll down to Messaging & Notifications
Under the Default thread subscription Mode choose No email notification from the menu.
Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page and you are all set.
These settings are set as default for the new members who get register from now on. However, the existing members need to follow the above steps in order to keep track of the threads.

Alternatively, you can choose to be notified by email when someone else replies to the thread you started or you did post in. You can also choose to receive email notifications of new posts in a thread without posting in that thread, by clicking the 'Subscribe to this thread' link displayed in the thread page.

Hope you will find this helpful

Cheers,
- Zeb
