Default Changing Profile Picture
Dear Moderators,

While changing my profile picture by uploading it from pc, I get a message 'upload of file failed'! Following are its specifications:
  • 154 by 127
  • 49 KB
  • 96 DPI

How can I solve this issue?

Cool Picture Upload
Try uploading by doing this and let us know:
  • Resize it to 250x250
  • Make it jpeg
  • It's size should remain below 64KB.

I changed the specs, the new are:
  • 210x240(as recommended by cssforum)
  • jpeg
  • 28 KB
but it didn't work either!

Your profile picture has been changed with your attempt.
If you are trying to change your display picture in posts then edit your Avatar.
Following is specification for using any picture as avatar
Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

It was Avatar that I actually wanted to change, not the profile picture. I thought the profile picture here does the function of the Avatar! Thanks a lot for your help.

User CP-> Edit Profile Picture -> upload image and then hit " save changes" button .
