Well Sir ji,
What's the extent of Late sitting in YPIP and what about promotion tenure for a good but not a Top-of-the-line performer (e.g. an average CSP can be promoted in 5-7 years whereas an excellent worker can be promoted in 4 years as well. I've heard ke if you need to excel to SBOTS require late sitting.... Need your input on this.. And of what amount? Is it on pro-rata basis or do you have to repay the full amount if you leave one day before??

@ Raz: Need some info regarding YPIP
Well Raz bhai,
What's the extent of Late sitting in YPIP and what about promotion tenure for a good but not a Top-of-the-line performer (e.g. an average CSP can be promoted in 5-7 years whereas an excellent worker can be promoted in 4 years as well. I've heard ke if you need to excel to SBOTS require late sitting.... Moreover, I have heard that the bond in SBOTS is 5 years as well as in YPIP is 2 years. Can you please tell me the amounts of each?? Moreover, is it on pro-rata basis or do you have to repay the full amount even if you leave one day before?? Need your advice on this..

Sbots & ypip
Dear All
I would like to clarify a misconception about the relativity of both the induction programs of SBOTS and YPIP. First and foremost it should be clear to everyone that SBP and SBP-BSC are separate institutions, each having its own Human resource department, hiring policies, procedures and benefits. However; SBP-BSC usually follows suit to the policies of SBP. This confusion is usually derived from the title SBP-BSC. SBP-BSC is a subsidiary of SBP and thus has SBP attached to its title. The scope of both institutions varies as well. SBP's objective is the soundness and stability of the Financial sector which it achieves through various functions such as Monetary Policy, Banking supervision, regulation, foreign exchange management (Policy level work) etc whereas SBP-BSC mainly has operational functions such as cash distribution and collection from commercial banks, Prize bond dealing, facilitation of export refinance (operational Functions) etc. Being inducted into the YPIP program does not guarantee posting to your city of choice and usually most inductees are retained at the head office of SBP-BSC in Karachi. Occasional late sittings do occur in SBOTS because of the nature and sensitivity of the job at hand. Please do not view SBP as a public sector institution if your objective is a relaxed job in a government organization. The work assigned, time provided keeping in view the high expectations of quality can be very demanding. SBOTS inductees have to sign a 5 year bond which diminishes on pro-rata basis. This is usually equivalent to the cost of your training. I hope i have addressed most of the queries. |

Just conduct a survey between two ( SBOTS vs YPIP) and try to analyze which do you think is better for your needs or ask from a personnel from SBOTS and YPIP and compare to know more better.
