The interior minister also announced the lifting of a freeze on recruitment in FIA against more than 700 vacant posts, adding that he will soon get a formal approval from the prime minister.

Last year, the government had placed a ban on recruitment in FIA and all advertised posts had been cancelled.

Malik also announced to raise the pay of FIA officials, bringing them at par with other police force personnel.

i think malik wants to increase their bank balance by lifting ban...

if 700 post would be advertised, then what ll be break-up of these posts?i mean how many posts would be for AD,inspector etc?

posts will be advertised in breaks.... cz 700 posts can not be advertised at same time..AD's will b 25 to 30 maiximum

As Salam o Alaikum, I also saw the news that they have lifted ban and more then 700 vacant posts will be announced , but Can anyone tell me when they will be advertised exactly? what will be the break up of the posts? and last thing, do you think the recruitment's will be fair?
