Gd om ib through nts please help

dear friends as i have applied for both gd and om post of ib through nts .please tell me when test will take place and what would be the pattern of test .and iam little bit confuse about height,my height is half point less than requirement i mean to say my height is 5.6./ adha point kam hai 7 inch se ....and tell me what should i read for test .as it is my first test in ib .please reply those who had taken these test earlier . anxiously waiting for reply

@saimabaloch; if you are from GB, Sindh & FATA then don't worry because NTS has already gave relaxation in height forGB, Sindh and FATA candidates (Male 5-6 and Female 5-2) only for GD, read minimum requirements in the add.

They would first take physical test for GD, so be in practice to cover 1.6 km in time.

Last time i also appeared in IB Recruitment test which was conducted by the IB administration, written test was normal with an ease i mean one who study current affairs thoroughly and has grasp over history of indo-pak, pak-china and other regional topics and international happenings would be in safe side in my opinion and for the post of OM one should also concentrate on typing too.

dear only mcqs or theory ..iam interested in om .what would be initial salary of job and where they will post after selection .which book should i refer for test please help me .moreover do you have any idea when nts will take test

MCQs, letter writing and paragraph (in urdu) were also in the paper last time, but this time i don't think that NTS continues same pattern of paper as IB took last time. I don't have any confirm news regarding salary but i think it would be 25k plus initially for OM and GD BPS9 (visit link below for salary discussion on the cssforum) and according terms and conditions available in the advertisement on NTS website, you will be posted anywhere in Pakistan, in my opinion they won't post anyone outside of province. I am also appearing this time and i am preparing from Carvan GK Series which covers Pakistan Study, Islamiyat, General Knowledge and etc plus latest happenings (Yeman conflicts, Sports Events etc) and specialy for OM as per my experience and NTS weightage basic computer introduction, MS-Office (Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Word) basic windows questions etc.

Lastly i think nts will announce test dates, just wait for a few days which in my gues should be end of April or start of May, so forget all things just focus on the preparation to be in the merit order.

im also fine, but a bit tired of exams.

having good intro of sindhi essay will at least make u to secure passing marks.

nts has uploaded rejected candidate list of test check your name in there if you are not among rejected candidate list, surely they will send you exam latter
