Dear Friends A.O.A...
I want to know about net and gross salary for the post of assistant director (BS-17) IB. Can anyone tell me some information regarding the subject???

Dear As per current pay scale BPS-17 Salary is Rs.27500pm, for those who are not come in the domain of big cities, big cities have 45% House rent allowance, so it differ to cities. in the same ranking, bps17, one will get 27500 including 30% house rent allowance and other who live in big cities so he will get 15% above salary of the basic pay, than those who is not in the domain of big cities.

There was mentioned in the advertisement that 20% special pay will also be given what about that............. any serving IB official can better rply to this.

I have checked from a fellow, who is serving in that department, as per him, the pay of an initial AD may be somewhat

Initial Basic Pay of B-17 = 16000
20% Special Allowance, Risk Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Some Adhoc Relief Allowances etc = 28000-32000

Total take home of an AD will be around 46000-48000/-

The current budget may also increase pays of civil servants, after which the first pay any new AD will get may be around 50000-55000/-.... As per that officer, pricks and privileges are apart from this pay...

Possibly it will be somewhat 46000-48000 if a new AD joins that department today.... and in case the pays are increased in current budget, it will be more thn that..
