Question When ISI JOBS will be announced?
Assalam_o_Alaikum!
Honorable Seniors,
My name is Shahzad and i belong to Okara (Punjab) . My request is that i just want to know that when the vacancies are announced in ISI (Inter Services Intelligence) like as BPS_14 or 16 or related to any scale and how can be recognized??. i mean these vacancies are announced publicly or secretly. I hope concerning Group will guide me in a better way. If in any newspaper then in which newspaper?.

Last time these jobs were announced in October 2010. There isn't any confirmed news when they will again announce jobs. These jobs are announced in all major newspapers under the name of Ministry of Defence.

There were rumors that ISI has temporarily stopped all civil inductions. Not sure whether they are true or not, but I haven't heard of any posts in ISI since then.

The recruitment was done via "recruitments.com.pk" (Its a ministry of defence site)

I dont know when vacancies were announced, either he took test or not but one of my friend, whose father was in ISI, today i came to know he got job in ISI few months back. I think gone are the days when vacancies were filled on merit.

Dear Member! I had applied for the post of AD, (Ministry of Defence) in 2008 and had qualified the two paper (Essay+Current Affairs) examination. The MOD contacted me after one full year to inform me about my result, through snail mail, and was called for psychological and intelligence test in which I did appeared. After the tests, the staff told us that if we're not contacted in three months we'd be failed. I was not contacted within the course of those three months and was failed, obviously. So, owing to my experience, you might not receive your desired letter in future. Anyhow, better luck next time.
