First it should be noted that, total post of OM (09) quota for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is (07), total number of candidates called for Written Test/Interview is 37, firstly they start typing test, in typing test a candidate is write a paragraph of round about 200 hundreds words in MS WORD within 05 minutes. My friend was in 36 number in merit list ,but after typing test they directly jumps to 6th position. Same process of typing test is repeat but length of Paragraph is limited to its 2/3, but time frame is 05 minutes, major change in OM (05) is that, for OM (05) a large number of candidates is called from KPK, but when any candidate is failed to qualify the typing test , they directly disqualify for interview, in my friend case they qualify the typing test with excellent speed, the IB HR told him gentleman you are already appeared for OM(09) test/interview, So do you not join OM as (09)scale.? My friend reply him, sir why not I want to join as OM (09), they IB HR reply him man go to our home, and doesn’t go for OM (05) interview,

I gotta question for you brother as You mentioned that 200 words in 5 minutes. will they give us any sort of paper so we have to look at that page and then we have to type it???

yes passage will be given.

Both of same scale and i think same Pay structure, but for GD you should go for few months physical training while OM is pure office type job, you may say it secretarial job, but it should be noted that, it totally depend on HR of IB that, whether to deploy you, in some cases a GD person is worked in specific department instead of performing field work activities, I think if some one want to explore world and perform adventures type of job then GD is best one, but ration of Risk is very high in GD.OK
