Help me out about basics of studies.
 
I m going to be a law graduate next year but very much confused regarding judicial exams as i m not prepared to it and even at the very primary stage i m unable to understand the standered of exam.my questions are:

1- i dont know what are the basics and what is thorough studies?
2- my english is too weak, how can i improve it beside reading newspapers?
3- what is the method of reading news papers to improve english?
4- what kind of interview is taken in judicial exams(regarding questions)?
5- what should be studied for current affairs and pakistan affairs?
6- what should be studied for everyday science?
7- beside this, any useful tips which u think better for new candidate to follow in preparation of exams.
please do me favour and help me out regarding these questions.

hi dear.
i feel that my base was not strong as it needed in CSS, but anyhow i start to read about CSS buy the books and make the strong belief that i will appear in exam once even,
now at this time i studied the CSS subject from last 4 months and never thought that i am weak in studies, and that idea really work for me. now i able talk on any matter my confidence grew to much and i am hopefull now.
just start studies and make mind that you have to do it...............
i hope your confedence will grow inshallah

well dear habib
dont worry regarding judiciary... u a law graduate and there will be no problem for u in exam.
u have to prepare 8 papers
english genrl
pushtho/urdu
G.Knowledge
civil law 1
civil law 2
criminal law
muslim law jurisprudence
qanoone shahdat and pleadings.

bare actts are provided with all the acts.

for english do read any good book of gramer like oxford grammar or wrin and martin or comprehnsive by madan sood.

try to read all the imp articles of news paper.

if any other querry so come up and b specific.

well of course exeption are always there.............

i statetd that bare acts are provided with all the acts........ muslim law plesings are not acts.......

english... urdu.... GK are also withot bare acts.....

No candidates shall be considered to have qualified in the examination unless he also obtains at least 50 percent marks in Viva Voce and Psychological tests. Failure in or absence in Viva Voce and Psychological tests shall mean that the candidate has failed to qualify for appointment and his name will not be included in the merit list.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial]b) [/FONT][FONT=Arial]Names of candidates who qualify shall be arranged in order of merit according to the aggregate marks obtained in the examination.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial]c) [/FONT][FONT=Arial]In the event of a tie, the order of merit shall be determined in accordance with the highest marks secured in the Psychological/Viva Voce tests, should the marks in the Psychological/Viva Voce test of the candidates who tie, be equal then the order of merit shall be decided in accordance with the highest marks obtained by such candidates in the aggregate of the compulsory subjects. If these are the same, then the elder candidate would be placed above the younger one.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial]d) Non-Muslim candidates have the option either to attempt MCQs Islamic Studies or the same number of questions in a separate section.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial]e) All the papers other than Civil Law-I, Civil Law-II, Criminal Law & General Law will be of B.A level, while the four papers relating to Law will be of LL.B. level. [/FONT]

[FONT=Arial]f) A candidate must obtain 33 percent marks in each of the written papers. A candidate must obtain 50 percent marks in the aggregate of all written papers. (0.50 or more marks will be rounded off). Thereafter qualifying candidates must also secure 50% marks in the interview to be finally successful.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial]g) In the MCQ type paper [B]Negative marking [/B]will be applicable and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.[/FONT]

in NWFP there is no need of experience.
