respected fellows... i have visited punjab bar council today.... according to them whether highcourt or ppsc take the exam the requirement in terms of eligibility would be two years of active practice as an advocate. and this two years would start from the date on which one has gained the voter membership of any local( district or tehsil) bar of the punjab....( membership of punjab bar council is not the proof of two years of active practice)

further we have to produce the certificate issued by president of that local bar council and countersigned by the sessions judge of the respective district that we have practiced as an advocate for two years.

further we have to furnish an affidavit on stamp paper of rs 20 that for two years we have not been in any other business other than practicing advocate...
