Civil judge cum judicial Magistrate is good and lucrative post in the sense that right from induction one ll get BS 18, a handsome salary from govt around 60 thousand in KP and I think around 1 lakh in other provinces, official residence but not a good chance of promotion to High Court.

well both are respectable profession infact every profession, if u like a reserved and lonely life not making social circles then go for judiciary but if u like social circles hanging out with friends etc and multidimensional life then CSS or PCS ll be a good option.

I myself was really confused as my parents wanted me to opt for judiciary but I prefer a more active task and having a social circle so wanna opt for CSS instead. The biggest motivation for opting CSS rather than judiciary is that there are chances of promotion unlike a judge who is just restricted to one court. I always like diversity so don't wanna limit myself to the tasks of a judge only
