In Sindh, one can appear for the exam for the post of civil judge / judicial magistrate as long as one has a license from the Sindh Bar Council to practice law. In other words, when a person graduates with a LL. B degree, he / she is required to undergo pupillage with a senior advocate for a period of six months. On the completion of pupillage, the person receives a certificate which enables him / her to practice law in all courts / tribunals except High Courts and Supreme Court. On the basis of this certificate, the person can apply for the post of civil judge / judicial magistrate. No experience is required for this post.
There is the requisite of age as well but I'm sure that you need not concern yourself with this as long as you are under 31.
For the post of Additional Sessions Judge, I think it is required of the prospective applicant to have actively practiced law for at least five years or something.
Hope this helps!
