Law profession for Low Vision Person?

Respected Lawyers on CSS forum.
I am 27 year old engineer but couldnot survive in jobs of my fields because of Low Vision.I want to switch in Law profession by getting LLB degree. But in a fix to decide whether I will b able to practise with low vision.
My vision is 6/30 with glasses i.e I can read the detail from 6 m what normal person can read from 30 m.Walking in day and night is no problem at all.I couldn't drive.I can recognize people from max 20 to 22 feet.I have seen city coart of karachi in person and the distance between judge and lawyers is very less and I willnot be a problem to me.However It is difficult to understand gesture and eye movements some time.
I can read 12 font sizes on MS word from 10 inches. So if reading is involved during arguements with judge I will have to read from very near, sometimes from even 8 inches.I can write efficiently.I have heard that some lawyers in old age lost considerable amount of vision but were able to practise because they had reputation and experience.
I need advice that is it possible to pursue career in Law with such vision?
I may also be contacted by my email available in my profile.

If you only intend to practice in the lower courts, then there isn't any problem. But, the distance between the lawyers and the judge in the High courts/Supreme court is more as compared to the judge and lawyers in the city courts. I don't think reading should be a problem as you can read from a judgment and then argue your case before the judge. One thing that does concern me is your difficulty to understand facial expressions and gestures of people because that carries a lot of weight. I'm stressing on its importance because when you're cross examining your opponent's witness/client, you have to read their facial expressions... Hm.. maybe that shouldn't be a problem either because the distance between the witness and the lawyer isn't that much either. I think you should visit the courts again and witness a cross examination in order to properly decide.

Why don't you switch to the teaching profession?
