Generally token questions are avoided so don’t stick to Who is Who and What is What type questions. Questions relating to national importance are asked in order to gauge our approach and aptitude in these areas. In order to bring you on the track for your convenience few questions from your last degree are also asked.
Form you opinion on following issues by assuming your position as of a responsible officer in any state organization:
Politico-Socio-Eco issues of Pakistan: Democratic struggle, Provincial grievances, controversial developmental projects, War on terrorism and Pakistan’s role , Internally displaced persons issue, talibanaziation, Corruption in Civil services, corruption in general public, Crime etc., Budget, BOT, BOP, Business cycles, and reforms in civil services.

Preparation Source: Media (Print and Electronic). Read Dawn regularly. No need to touch books.

It Would be an interview of 20 to 25 minuts with focus on your personality,interests,academic qualification,family background,your analysis and approach towards current national and international issues.

First of all, regularly follow all the prevailing national and international issues particularly challenges being faced by pakistans e.g war on terror, extremism, swat operation, Baluchistan, Pak Afghan border,IDPs etc.

Then they may ask questions about your family background ,general interests and hobbies.

Do regularly observe world map and try to have grip on important geographical facts etc.

Most important, an optimistic approach on all above mentioned issues woud give you maximum marks.

thanks to the memebers for their usefull guidence regarding the interveiw
call letters ll be issued within two month time from ur psychological test .so u can calculate ur own expected date for interview as tests held in different dates in different cities

is anyone on the forum can share his past experience regarding interview ?

questions may be about your family, income, who is your supporter, why do you want to join this deptt, general questions about where you live, then from the course of your last degree, your favorite topic/author from your own degree, sth from pak affairs like policies of previous leaders. zia,bhutto etc. then current affairs, may be this time about US forces presence in Afghanistan, iraq. Sth about Afpak, Hoolbrooke,etc. North Korea, US policy toward our region, and of course on going operations and terrorism.

There wil be board of five officals.all the officials wil be from isi(army).the wil ask about ur self,ur education,ur district,ur province,ur hobbies and current issues i.e(swat,balochistan, energy crisis,inflation,terrorism,extremisim,role of present govt,mega projects,afghanistan,iraq,palestine issue,North korea and iran nuclear programs,pak and iran gas pipe line,pak-china relations,pak-india relatios.pak us relations,reasons of cultivation of poppy in afghanistan and its impacts,talibanisation and islam.wish u all best of luck
