Default AD MOD job detail

I am really confused about this job's duties. Some forum members have shared that it is an ISI desk job with very slow promotions and an extremely tough schedule but I still cannot get my head wrapped around the real nature of this post. I certainly know that a clandestine agency will never publicly provide any detailed description like that but shouldn't one know what he is getting into before taking the plunge?

So what kind of job is it? Is it 9-5 or 24/7? Are we just going to be paper pushers for high up military guys? Pay scale, privileges, social concerns.................etc.

AOA Dear,

I am an amateur myself, however will try to answer your query. I would also request seniors to add their expertise into this effort.

Brother first of all I always recommend friends not to go into much details about sensitive state owned organizations. AD's post definitely will have office/desk duties however no one can guarantee what your prospect employer will ask you to do apart from your general duties.

Let me clear you on the basis of my little knowledge that every organization do give required training and briefings according to the nature of the job. Do not indulge yourself in useless stress. Insha ALLAH! if you get selected you will come to know everything gradually.

This is a public forum and one should always be careful in discussing state related issues etc.

The aforementioned statement is entirely personal brother and hope no hard feelings from your side. Good Luck!

Regards

You are right brother i agree with your comments. As every organization have their own rules and procedures of work so one should wait for that. And i think that " Naukar ki the Nakhra ki".

This thing has been discussed in detail already in this forum. I agree that first things first, so when u r offered the job u may think about these queries then. But as per my knowledge, salary structure is very good in this org, somewhere around 60k for the new comers. AD can have family accomodation, medical etc. the job nature is desk/field.

We are not spilling state secrets here so I don't understand the paranoia about discussing it. I am not asking about training to counter sleeper RAW agents but simple facts which must be known to a reasonable degree.

I have read Raz's comments as he was selected in 2005 for this job but he went mum after just a couple of posts.

I hope this is taken in jest only and not in reality. The same justification was given by Nazi soldiers when questioned about why did they obey such merciless orders.

It is not purely a desk job!

You will operate in field also. Demand for JD first if you clear your test.
