Spent one full day at ASF Academy yesterday. I came home on 1 day pass to come collect some stuff.
To clarify a few things, we are staying in a Barrack but it is furnished with 12 beds. Beds are not chaarpais and are made of metal.
We get portable cupboards made of parachute cloth and metal rods. We also get a side bed table.
Toilets are fine too but not very clean.
Mess facilities are excellent and we get hot food every time. Dining table and seating arrangement is also good.
We also got recreation room opened for us. Containing some indoor games, TV and furnished with Sofas and curtains.
Academy environment is pretty easy going uptil now and no one checks us at all.

how many have joined till now? nd what about medical?

Only six people joined by now. Medical date not decided yet. They said they will take appointment from Civil Surgeon and then take everyone. Medical may take one more week.

6 have joined so far. Medical is expected on 17th and 18th.

Only 7 dY.ADs are under training out of the 18 recommended by FPSC. One trainee also left without intimation. It's been nearly 15 days and still our training has not started yet. Our time is just wasted in academy. Getting a leave or night pass is very very difficult.
out of 16 inspectors recommended by fpsc no one has joined ASF.
