I also just received it today from ASF HQ. All candidates have to report at 13 Feb at ASF camp to Commandant ASF.
Then maybe they will take all candidates to Federal Civil Surgeon for medical clearance.

The letter says nothing about Police Clearance.

Oh yes, Surgeon will take three thousand and five hundred as a bribe, this bribe will be brazenly taken from candidates in front of ASF officials who will accompany candidates to the civil Surgeon.
I have never seen such an impotent department, I was shocked to learn that even serving senior officials of ASF go through same agony every year. Civil Surgeon staff and Jinnah hospital staff treat ASF officials as a third class citizens, will degrade, humiliate and insult them.

That's too much money, all candidates don't come from rich families.
I will try to take video of this event and post it on youtube. Ha Ha Ha

Government fee is 100 rupees. like i said even ASF senior officers of BPS-18 to BPS-19 also pays bribe of 10 thousand to get their medical fitness certificate which is mandatory every year.
On the other hand they could not dare to ask money from a Police Constable.
This is why i left that department

Police clearance is very formal, local guy of special branch and Inspector IB will call you, ask you some questions regarding your family background, or may be they visit your home.
The most funny question they asked me on phone was "kya apka taluk kise ban organization sy tho ni" I sarcastically replied "Apko ku batao" :P
