Competent Authority has decided not to call candidates which are next in line according to Merit which is injustice. I guess 7-8 seats of AD and 10-14 seats of DAD are vacant!

Almost every department follow this practice of calling candidates from waiting list against the sanctioned posts. If you think you had done well in the interview
then should write application to Chairman NAB or any legal forum. One thing is crystal clear that it is very very hard to reach this stage and their still exists a chance for you to be part of NAB.
