Faraizi movement was initiated by Haji Shariatullah to carry out Faraiz for awaringg Muslims of Bengal, who were oppressed class in the society under British govt. The British govt imposed unfair taxes e.g bear tax, agricultural taxes and so on to the muslins that's why they were oppressed. The answer of the question was BRITISH .

Dear the question was that "who were the target of faraizi movement". It was not asked that it was against who.
