Consult the following thread for the NAB vacancies back in 2016

http://www.cssforum.com.pk/other-com...cruitment.html

and learn how to use this forum properly on your own. This is because seniors and employees of key organizations don't frequent this forum anymore.

In 2017, Supreme Court had directed the NAB to do the recruitment of officers through FPSC. Therefore, NAB posts would be advertised through FPSC in very near future. Hoping for the best.

Pre-2012, FPSC took the test, since 2012 NTS has arranged the exam. It does not matter which organization takes the test this time. On ground reality is that competition is going to be fierce. For a meager 11 seats of FIA in 2018, nearly 40k people applied and 45k people applied for CSS this year, alone. The fact of the matter is that NAB jobs are coveted by many candidates these days due to high salary and social status, in lieu of recent political developments. The competition is getting tough each year. Start serious preparation NOW so that you can have an edge over other candidates.

Good news! A serving AD has informed me that summary for new AD posts have been sent to FPSC. They will be advertised in a month or two. Let's wait and see

Fpsc doesn’t recruit for the posts of an autonomous institution.

@Braveheart2's comment above says something about this by quoting Supreme court decision in 2017
