I applied for the posts of AD and JIO and secured 50 and 55 marks respectively in the NTS test. My brother only applied for JIO and he had secured 58 or 59. We're from Karachi so our domicile would obviously be Sindh Urban. We've both been called for the next stage for the post of JIO but I have not been called for the post of AD. It would seem that the threshold for AD has been set higher than JIO.

I seemed to have a clue as to what NAB has done with the candidates here. I may be wrong about them but it's my opinion. For those people who have scored marks like 59 but have not been preferred but those candidates who have scored 50 are being called, I have two reservations: Firstly, as someone else has already stated, 10 people are competing for one seat; secondly, preference is being given to law candidates, and, secondly, preference is being to those candidates who have higher qualifications as well to those candidates who have secured positions in their last degree.

This seems to be in consonance with NAB's advertisement. I say this because I have a LL. B degree and secured two gold medals for my performance throughout the course. Then I have a LL. M degree from London and there, too, I passed it with distinction. For those of you who do not know this, passing a postgraduate degree with distinction from England is considered like getting a position in England. You can google this if you want to. As regards my brother, he got second position in his first law degree as well as he is also a LL. M from London. However, he does not have a position in his Masters degree. This is my reasoning as they have asked to bring along attested copies of all our educational documents and certificates.

I have no sifarish because had I any sifarish, I would surely have been called for the post of AD but NAB did not shortlist me for that post. I only got 50 marks in the test.

The best preparation for psychological is not to prepare anything, u just have the idea of different procedures of psychological testing and be natural as you are.....
I want to know should we go formally dress or casual on psychological test day......as in CSS we should be formally dress on the 2nd day of Psychological test because of Command Task, Group Discussion and Interview by psychologists.
Can anyone please guide....

Anees there can be 2 reasons for that. First of all they are mostly girls in the list provided by you. Girls' quota is different from guys so 56 can be acceptable for girls but not you, and if few guys are selected at 56 but you are not then 56 might be cut off where they got ahead of you on some tie breaking criteria. For eg if they had to select maybe 10 candidates with 56 and there are around 20 candidates in total with 56 marks then maybe first they will use AGE criteria, then academics record and so on until they get their required 10 candidates to complete the list.

Default NTS weightage criteria

Someone on this forum had shared the NTS weightage criteria for academic, written & psychological test.
If anyone had come across that post plz share that link.
What I could recall, it was about shortlisted candidates for appointment as civil judge.
