By the way, do you know Taj Nizamani? He is bank manager in faisal bank.

Sorry, this is another Taj Nizamani. I know him but probably he does not know me directly. He might know me, I think he knows my father, who is a retired college professor of Chemistry.

A solution is that you call them up and tell them this issue. Shaid ho sakta hai ke un ka dil narm ho jaye and they tell you...

So you want NAB to publish the result of the psychological test? Yeah, there is no harm in having the list published but please remind me what purpose that would serve other than occupy space on NAB's website. Allow me to explain. If NAB does publish a list, it will be either of the two:

1. It publishes two lists. The first list is of those people who passed the psychological test and the other of those who failed; or

2. It publishes a single list of all the candidates who appeared in the psychological test and adds "pass" or "fail" next to their respective names.

Now tell me what would be the purpose here. So, I take it that what you're actually demanding for is that NAB provides you the reasons for choosing one while rejecting the other. Correct? This means that you're asking NAB's recruitment department to detail each and every reason for their decision. Let me try to explain myself by means of an example:

"A person called Z appeared in the psychological test. If you recall, the test considered of sentence completion, writing stories, word linking and filling a questionnaire. Z took the test and did everything as he was told. Now his paper comes for assessment before the expert team of NAB for determination as to whether Z is to be selected or rejected. Now the team goes through Z's paper and conclude that his answers indicate that he is not suitable for the post. NAB does not inform Z of his failure. If they do inform him, of course, Z would want to know how he is not suitable. This would mean that the team would have to type out everything which, in their opinion, made Z unfit for the job. Z may also want to know if NAB found any of his answers acceptable or not."

Z is just one fictitious person. Imagine if NAB has to do it for every single person who appeared in the psychological test. It would have to give reasons for every single person. Of course, everyone is interested in his/her own result. There would be a huge problem if NAB only published the list of successful candidates. But, if it published a list showing the names of those candidates whom it rejected along with the reasons for their respective rejections, don't you think these candidates would be interested in knowing what the answers of the passed candidates were and the reasons as to why NAB found them fit for the job? Think about how much further this would delay the recruitment process. Do you think NAB has time for this? This process has already taken 10 or 11 months. Further, you can speak all you want for yourself that you'd be satisfied if NAB provides reasons but the majority of people would not be happy... and once they start making comparisons of their answers with a candidate who has passed, they will start questioning the reasoning of the team who examined the psychological test papers. Now these unhappy candidates decide to go for litigation... meaning that NAB has no discretion of its own to decide whom it finds suitable or unsuitable and the court is the psychological expert now, correct?

Taking this a bit further, I have found a mindset prevalent here which is relying too much on the marks of the written test while ignoring the importance of the psychological test, previous academic record, work experiences, etc. They are forgetting that NAB rejected or selected a person based on taking all of the above in consideration. Re-read the conditions mentioned in their advertisement.

This particular bit is not directed towards you but someone else who mentioned that NAB ought to have provided the answer key of the psychological test like it was done for the written test. Perhaps the gentleman is unaware of the fact that NAB never provided a passing criterion for the psychological test like it was done for the preliminary test. Further, psychology is ascertained on a case to case basis. You have to go through each case individually. How would this key have worked when there is no right answer to the questions that they asked? All the answers were as: strongly disagree, disagree, neutral, agree, strongly agree.

In the end, I would say that go ahead with the petition if you want to but bear in mind the repercussions it will bring about for all.
You are not getting the point. No one objected at the result. No one objected how they check papers. Its not about psycho test. Its about criterion how they shortlist.
