If I am not mistaken, two questions were wrong.

The second question had the word "Fagrant" whose synonym were Pleasant, Viscous etc. There is no such word as Fagrant and speaks volume of the manner in which FPSC exams are conducted.

The other question was Insomnia. Insomnia is sleeping disorder. There was dozing which means "sleeping lightly" but an insomniac cannot sleep at all.

May God be merciful on us and replace FPSC with any better, more capable and responsible institution.

I presume something is wrong with the FPSC. They fear the word 'L' that's why they had omitted the L from Flagrant as well as from Glaring. I took the risk of marking Garing which was supposed to be glaring. There is no word as Garing and Fagrant :)
Secondly, there was no 92 in the OMR sheet. I took three tests and every sheet was missing 92.
:laughing:D:laughing:laughing SO DID I ;)
There were two mistakes in the paper, one in an equation and second in an Islamic quote question, instead of brother, they wrote bother and I did none of these. I thought there was an error to correct the answer. This is what the FPSC has been doing always. These are actually clerical typo mistakes, but it cant be denied that even a single mark will make the difference.

Faheem, try to recall preposition and correction questions, nearly all were the super easiest and mine are all correct inhs'allah. If you could post them, I would appreciate that.

Thanks in anticipation

Even they made blunder mistakes in CSS papers. I appeared twice in CSS and there had been many mistakes including in the main essay paper. Such examples are depicting the lack of interest in proofreading by FPSC staff. It needs to be hundred percent perfection in all the exam. In accordance with the last two tests, today I was expecting to hit 90 plus. But if I get 80+, it would have been enough though. As level of test was a bit tougher than the last two tests. I am expecting 90+ in Preventive, 85+ valuation, & not more than 80 in Custom. Still, many questions are to be justified. Let's hope for the best and I wish you best of luck ..

Friends,
FPSC needs to be exposed. It is our moral duty that we must do something about it. I mean, how can you expect them to do justice with our Answer Sheets if they cannot even set 100 questions properly. What if these 2 marks are the difference between our rejection for the interview?

It is time you all must e mail DAWN about today's incident at letters@dawn.com. Write how OMR Sheet was missing 92 box. In addition, mention the words "Fagrant", "Garing" as well as wrong answers of "Insomnia". Also mention your roll number, name, case number, time as well as the venue of the test.

I really hope this is published in Letters to Editor. If it does, we ll have moral victory and future candidates can reap fruits of our efforts.
