Medical Fitness Certificate for Preventive Officer
 

Assalam-u-alaikum,
Dear and Peers, I need to know the format of the Physical Fitness certificate required to be submitted along with documents for preventive officer.

As per advertisement:
MINIMUM PHYSICAL STANDARD: For Male candidates: Height 5'-6" Chest 32"-33.5" For Female Candidates: Height 5'-2" (Documentary proof from authorized Medical authorities required).

As per letter posted to us:
Proof of Minimum Physical Standard issued by Authorized Medical Authority
of Tehsil/District Headquarters Hospital clearly showing the height & chest
measurement in feet & inches.

So, in medical certificate we have to mention height, weight and chest only or we have to take all tests like Xray, Blood and Eye Check up etc.

Any member who has gone through this process for general recruitment of Fpsc may please elaborate it for newbies.


Secondly, what is procedure for getting this certificate in Karachi. If somebody has obtained it, please tell. Jazak Allah Kheyr!

Just height & chest measurement will do. They will also test your eye sight (at least they checked mine, so may be it's general requirement). No medical certificate other than this is required. Rest, competitors from karachi can guide you better.

Today, I went to civil hospital they refused to make any physical fitness certificate saying that the hospital is under ambit of sindh government and is not authorized to make any such certificate for recruitment of fpsc. They asked me to visit civil surgeon, Pakistan secretariat. They again refused saying that they are only authorized to take physical examination of finally recruited candidates. I also contacted fpsc regional office karachi and made him talk to admin of hospital. Even upon his (fpsc official) request he refused me. The Fpsc official became furious on admin of hospital but to no effect. Then, I went to JPMC but still nobody is willing. :cry
So after running here and there whole day, finally back at home.

[B]Quite strange. This medical certificate is a requirement for this post. How can they refuse it to you? Well, brother i think if you pay them some money, they will surely issue you this certificate. Since they know that it's a requirement for this job, so they are cashing this opportunity.[/B]

From where can I get medical fitness certificate in Lahore, other than Mian Munshi Hospital. please Guide
