Is Human Resource Management a Social Science Subject?
Hello everybody. I am making this query with regards to the exam taken against the post of Junior Research Officer at National Assembly Secretariat. I had passed the exam and have not been pre-selected and the reason given is "do not possess required/advertised educational qualification". The required qualification for this post was a grade C masters degree in any social sciences discipline. I have pursued an MA in Human Resource Management from the UK. I had also submitted HEC equivalence certificate along with other requisite documents. I was thinking of emailing this query to HEC as well.
I would highly appreciate responses from respected members as to what should I do in this regard. If human resource management is not a social science subject then it is fine. However if it falls under social science subject, what should be my next line of action? |

As per my understanding HRM is both social sciences and Management sciences subject.
but normally the Domain of HR that is HRD development side of HR is considered/Falls under the Social sciences. your next line of action should be nothing more then getting MBA or MS equivalence certificate from HEC |
